Set up Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™ in Your Honda

Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ allow your car’s infotainment system to act as a display and controller for your smartphone. They enable you to use a range of applications from your phone on your car’s built-in screen, providing a convenient driving experience.

Steps to Connect Apple CarPlay®

Before starting, ensure that your Honda model supports Apple CarPlay® and that your iPhone is running iOS 7.1 or later.

Use an Apple-approved Lightning cable to connect your iPhone to the car’s USB port. Look for the USB port labelled with the CarPlay® icon or a smartphone icon.

On your Honda’s infotainment screen, you might see a prompt asking you to enable Apple CarPlay®. Follow the on-screen instructions to allow CarPlay® access on your iPhone.

Press and hold the voice command button on your steering wheel to activate Siri. Use voice commands to navigate, make calls, and send messages.

How to Connect to Android Auto™
